Redesigning Digital Platforms to Connect Researchers and Industry
The University of Melbourne’s Research Faculty needed to improve the way people accessed research information online. Their websites were difficult to navigate, making it hard for students, academics, and industry partners to find what they needed. They wanted a smoother, more engaging digital experience to attract graduate researchers, showcase academic expertise, and promote research commercialization opportunities.
We worked closely with the University of Melbourne for over nine months, embedding our team within the university to understand their challenges and design better solutions.
We took a research-driven approach, mapping out user needs and behaviors to design intuitive, accessible, and future-proof platforms. Through in-depth user research, journey mapping, and iterative testing, we refined every aspect of the digital experience—from clear navigation and responsive UI to seamless content structure and stakeholder engagement—delivering websites that truly support the university’s mission in research and education.
