Redesigning a building materials brand for the digital era. Creating a unified design system to power three distinctly different customer experiences.
PGH, one of Australia’s leading brick manufacturers, serves a diverse audience of builders, architects, specifiers, and homeowners. As part of a group-wide transformation across CSR, PGH required a comprehensive website redesign and brand refresh. The challenge was twofold: modernize PGH’s brand and site experience, and build a shared design and content system deployable across three brands (PGH, CSR, and Gyprock) on the Sitecore CMS. The goal was to balance consistency with flexibility, allowing each brand to retain its uniqueness while sharing core templates, structure, and logic.
Behavjor led a full-spectrum human-centered design project, starting with a comprehensive discovery phase and continuing through design, prototyping, user testing, brand development, and development support. Critical to the program’s success was creating a universal navigation system, developing a multi-brand digital design system, and implementing a rigorous content audit and categorization framework supporting CSR’s broader content ecosystem.
Our approach included:
Human-Centered Research
User interviews and stakeholder workshops to understand customer needs and brand goals.
Brand Strategy & Identity Redesign
Full redevelopment of the PGH visual identity, tone of voice, and brand principles.
Design Language System
Built a flexible, scalable system of components usable across all three websites.
Universal Navigation Framework
Designed a shared global navigation experience adaptable across CSR brands.
Content Audit & Categorization
Reviewed and restructured content across all three sites for clarity and findability.
UX & Interaction Design
Delivered responsive wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and UI design for desktop and mobile.
Component Mapping & Documentation
Created a scalable pattern library for Sitecore templates.
Usability & Prototype Testing
Conducted moderated testing with real users to validate decisions.
Development Support
Provided guidance and QA to the development team to ensure design integrity through to launch.
